Hong Kong government abolishes “vaccine pass, close contact isolation, PCR test”

The Hong Kong government has announced that it will abolish the “vaccine pass”, “quarantine of close contacts”, and “PCR test for Hong Kong immigrants” from tomorrow, December 29 (Thursday).

The Vaccine Pass is a system that allows us to know who has not been vaccinated and how many times they have been vaccinated, and has restricted entry to restaurants and facilities according to individual vaccination status.

There will be no more PCR tests on days 0 and 2 for immigrants, but a rapid antigen test (RAT test) for 5 days after entry is still required.

Please note that wearing a mask is still required.
